10. Julie & R (Teresa Palmer & Nicholas Hoult) – Warm Bodies

R may not talk much, but he’s so cute with Julie and he does whatever he can to change for her, and he does, he manages to regain his humanity and even his ability to talk again. Julie, well, she manages to overcome the whole thing of him being a zombie and eating people’s brains….

WARM BODIES

“This date is not going well. I want to die all over again.”

9. Tim & Mary (Domhnall Gleeson & Rachel McAdams) – About Time

Rachel McAdams has played a time-traveler’s wife before, but this is definitely a romantic and funny approach to the subject. Tim and Mary are funny and sweet, and I don’t know, I just love them so much together.

“Somedays you want to re-live forever”

8. Nymphadora Tonks & Remus Lupin (Natalia Tena & David Thewlis) – Harry Potter series

Unfortunately the movies don’t do enough justice to the whole story between Tonks and Lupin. The books are much more detailed and they gives us the whole picture of the beautiful and sad story between these two adorable wizards.

Tonks, a lot younger than Lupin, falls in love with him in HP5. Throughout all of book 6, Harry and company notice that Tonks is sadder and her Patronus has change. In the end of the book it’s clear why this is: she’s in love, with Lupin, but he thinks he’s too dangerous, too poor and too old for her. He eventually comes around, and the two get married sometime between book 6 and 7. She gets pregnant soon after and Lupin, afraid that he has ruined his wife and unborn child’s lifes, runs away, but Harry sets him straight, and he gets back to Tonks in time to see the birth of their Metamorphmagus son, Teddy Lupin. Soon after, however, they are both killed during the battle of Hogwarts…

““You see!” said a strained voice. Tonks was glaring at Lupin. “She still wants to marry him, even though he’s been bitten! She doesn’t care!”
“It’s different,” said Lupin, barely moving his lips and looking suddenly tense. “Bill will not be a full werewolf. The cases are completely-”
“But I don’t care either, I don’t care!” said Tonks, seizing the front of Lupin’s robes and shaking them. “I’ve told you a million times….”
And the meaning of Tonk’s Patronus and her mouse-colored hair, and the reason she had come running to find Dumbledore when she had heard a rumor someone had been attacked by Greyback, all suddenly became clear to Harry; it had not been Sirius that Tonks had fallen in love with after all.
“And I’ve told you a million times,” said Lupin, refusing to meet her eyes, staring at the floor, “that I am too old for you, too poor….too dangerous….”
“I’ve said all along you’re taking a ridiculous line on this, Remus,” said Mrs. Weasley over Fleur’s shoulder as she patter her on the back.
“I am not being ridiculous,” said Lupin steadily. “Tonks deserves somebody young and whole.”
“But she wants you,” said Mr. Weasley, with a small smile. “And after all, Remus, young and whole men do not necessarily remain so.”
He gestured sadly at his son, lying between them.
“This is….not the moment to discuss it,” said Lupin, avoiding everybody’s eyes as he looked around distractedly. “Dumbledore is dead….”
“Dumbledore would have been happier than anybody to think that there was a little more love in the world,” said Professor McGonagall curtly…”

7. Gwen Stacy & Peter Parker (Emma Stone & Andrew Garfield) – The Amazing Spider-Man

Oh well, I know this one won’t last long… everyone knows that he’s meant to end up with MJ, but still, Emma and Andrew’s chemistry in this movie is crazy good (probably because, you know, it was happening in real life too… but still…). Can’t wait for the second one =)…

“Don’t make promises you can’t keep, Mr. Parker.”

“Yeah, but those are the best kind.”

6. Tom Hansen & Summer Finn (Zooey Deschanel & Joseph Gordon-Levitt) – (500) Days of Summer

If you watched this movie, you know “This is a boy meets girl story. It is not a love story.“. And indeed, it isn’t! Tom is crazy in love with Summer and thinks she’s his life, but it turns out that she doesn’t feel quite the same way… it’s heartbreaking, but it’s a great movie and they are a happy couple while they last (which is not long, for most of the time he’s in love with her and she is not!). Zooey and Joseph have this crazy chemistry between them… amazing!

“This is a story of boy meets girl. The boy, Tom Hansen of Margate, New Jersey, grew up believing that he’d never truly be happy until the day he met the one. This belief stemmed from early exposure to sad British pop music and a total mis-reading of the movie ‘The Graduate’. The girl, Summer Finn of Shinnecock, Michigan, did not share this belief. Since the disintegration of her parent’s marriage she’d only love two things. The first was her long dark hair. The second was how easily she could cut it off and not feel a thing. Tom meets Summer on January 8th. He knows almost immediately she is who he has been searching for. This is a story of boy meets girl, but you should know upfront, this is not a love story.”
