I think it looks good, but it has been way too quick! She can’t be that good at fighting already.
I don’t know when it’s coming, but I will always think it will be too soon… I don’t think they made her worthy enough… at least not yet!
Well … I knew this was coming, but I agree, she doesn’t deserve it yet. She’s training and all, but she could never be at the level of Oli and Sara just yet. But from what I saw Oli tells her off next week, saying that she sees this all as a game, when it’s really life and death.
I know she’s suppose to be important and all, and I was kind of hoping that with Sara’s death she would become more interesting and a better character, but no! I just find her more and more annoying… it’s a problem. I always liked Canary (love Alaina Huffman in Smallville), but I can’t stand Laurel =(
I don’t like her either. She was supposed to be the person we like and want Oli to end up with, but that totally backfired. I just couldn’t stand her from the beginning.
It’s not as bad with Iris on the Flash, but I am not rooting for either … somehow they are doing the female main cast wrong.
YES! But Iris is way less annoying. Laurel is just all over the place and none of it is good. Even if she gets a little bit more under control, it still won’t be good enough… =(
True, Iris is not as bad as Laurel, but both characters will never be my favourites.

Love the design of the costume itself.
I’m not exactly sure Laurel is ready yet. Her character is way too sporadic in change. She changes her mind all the time and its always in the most drastic way. Thats not yet the character thats ready to be a hero.
Who knows? So far the producers haven’t done anything wrong with the series. Maybe they have some good plans for Black Canary and Laurel.
They need to work a lot on Laurel before they can introduce her as the Canary…
