Until this very moment I had no idea that a Cinderella live action movie was even in the works, but the first trailer just came out and it looks amazing.
What surprised most of all was the highly recognizable casting.
- Helena Bonham Carter as the Fairy Godmother;
- Lily James as Cinderella (if you don’t know her, go watch Downton Abbey!)
- Cate Blanchett as the Stepmother;
- Hayley Atwell as Ella’s mom (again, don’t know who she is? She’s Agent Carter! Cap’s first love and coming to our screens in January…);
- Richard Madden as Prince Charming (and the King in the North looks mighty good!);
- Stellan Skarsgård as the Grand Duke;
- Holliday Grainger as Anastasia;
- Sophie McShera as Drizella (Downton Abbey again… Daisy!!!).
My Tiny Obsessions 
I’ve been waiting for this trailer for so long!!! They made trailer announcement where they only showed the shoe, and then they said they’d show the full trailer during a commercial break of Scandal. I was so excited!
At the moment the cast looks like a mash between Game of Thrones (not just Richard), Downton Abbey and Agent Carter to me. I love it already and it looks really sweet!
the colours are amazing!!! 😀 they went full british for the movie… just as I like my fairytales… 😉
I love fairy tales most of the time, no matter how they are done, I don’t even care that they are majorly overdoing it at the moment.
As long as they do them right, I’m totally on board. =)
