Absolutely! It’s supposed to have a backdoor pilot this season of Chicago Fire. I mean we already know some of the characters that will probably be on the show. I sort of expected this for quite some time now, but if any of the Chicago shows is doomed to fail than it’s definitely a medical drama. Also, the network would bring competition to their own channel since they also intend to keep the Night Shift going. It’s going to be interesting.
They might do something very unique, but med dramas are tricky. Have you seen the night shift? Is it any good?
Yeah, I liked it a lot to be honest. I think I posted about it as well, because it was the hit show of the summer season.
But med dramas really aren’t easy and I think they partially already covered that department with the paramedics on Chicago Fire. We’ll just have to wait and see, because I wasn’t too hot for another crine show either when CPD came along and now I love it.
As long as thy don’t fatigue the audience… the csi’s had that problem
That’s true and that’s why people stopped caring about it.
And with med dramas there’s one clear disadvantage… they are so many of them!
