I first watched this movie in February, while in the UK, and then again a week ago in Portugal, and I can only say that it is one of my favorite movies… possibly ever!

Adapted from the comic series by Mark Millar and Dave Gibbons, director Matthew Vaughn takes a new take on the spy genre and man, it’s glorious. The movie in fun, fast paced and did I mention funny?! The action sequences are extremely well done and even those are done with a fun magic touch (fireworks anyone?!).

The cast is amazing, Colin Firth, Mark Strong, Jack Davenport and Michael Caine are some of the best actors that Britain has to offer, adding Samuel L. Jackson and Taron Egerton to that lot is an added bonus. Colin Firth as Galahad really took me by surprise, he’s absolutely amazing, I mean, Colin Firth is amazing in every single thing he does, but he had never took on a role such as this, and he did it amazingly well… the church scene is my favorite one.

Egerton’s Eggsy is amazing as well, a fair companion to Firth’s Galahad, and man, does he look good on a suit…
If you haven’t seen it, you should… like, now! 🙂
