X-Men: Apocalypse, Angel or Archangel?!

Warren Worthington III, or Angel, is an important part of the X-Men, he’s also one of the first members of the mutant team. You might remember him from X-Men: The Last Stand, though I rather remember him from the comics and original animated series. (I was particularly fond of him when he was dating Psylocke… I really like Psylocke!)

angel

Why am I talking about Angel?! Well, today Bryan Singer confirmed that Ben Hardy has been cast to play Angel. Here’s what he had to say: “Ben Hardy is Angel – I shall confirm it for you! But he’s not a very nice Angel! And that’s all I’ll say…”. Yeah… with that, they also released two pieces of Angel concept art…

See, those wings look a lot more like daggers and not really like feathers, right? So, what are we all thinking?! This Angel is going to be Archangel, that it, the Horseman of Death! He doesn’t look very blue though… I’m so excited!!!

Books, books and more books! It feels like Christmas!

Last month there was this amazing thing on Amazon.co.uk, where you could get 3 books for 10£. That’s amazing! Amazing I say! I say that because here in Barcelona or in Portugal, for that matter, the selection of books in english, that are ready to take on stores, is very limited. So, I jumped at the chance of buying some books, I needed some for my Reading Challenge anyway…

books

I started to click on the beginning of the month and finished my order on the 31st, my shopping bag had at the time some 22 books. So I had to cut a few… I managed to stay with 17! Yeah, not all of these belonged to that wonderful sales promotion, but nonetheless, the books were cheaper than buying them here. I ended up ordering 17 books and with the difference from pounds to euros and shipping costs and everything, it still came out for like 7€ a book, it’s quite cheap!

To sum it up, I’m very happy! I feel like a kid on Christmas day!

Marvel Posters: Vision

That took long! Way way too long, but hey, at least we got it! Marvel has finally released the official Vision poster from their character’s posters collection of the Avengers: Age of Ultron.

vision

It looks pretty cool, although I have to admit that I still have no idea who this mysterious character is… just a little less than a month to find out though. Paul Bettany gives life to Vision, after a lot of movies voicing Tony Stark’s JARVIS!
