I thought the announcement was coming yesterday, so I spent most day checking the news, but today, finally, we got the announcement that Katherine McNamara was chosen for the main role, Clary Fray, of the Shadowhunters TV Show, based on The Mortal Instruments (Cassandra Clare), that will air on ABC Family.
I never saw a thing with her, but I’m pretty excited about this casting news. I like that so far the cast is pretty unknown, and they all look a lot more like the description of the characters in the book than they did in the movie. I mean, Katherine, dark her hair just a tiny bit, and she’s Clary, no doubt about it.
Now people, let’s get serious, are they torturing us?! Why haven’t they released the biggest piece of casting news?! And by that, I obviously mean Alec and Magnus 😉 !!!
My Tiny Obsessions 
I know her from Happyland and I didn’t really like her there at all. Yes, she kind of looks the part, but I don’t know. I’m afraid I am not too excited about this bit of news.
As for Magnus and Alec: I hope whoever they choose for Alec will somewhat look like he could be Isabelle’s brother. And Magnus. He’s one of my all-time favorites and I think they cast him superb in the movie. Now I have high expectations.
I’m with tou about Alec and Magnus, and i’m really worried about Alec, actually.
Lets ser how she does here, i hope she surprises tou 😉
I hope so too! I just don’t want them to be ruined. But it’s always different when you actually watch it than when you see the casting picture. So I’ll keep an open mind.
