Hi! As promised, I’m here today to share with you my July book haul, which obviously includes my shiny new The Mortal Instruments books, with their amazing new covers (the last books just got in today).
Let’s start with The Mortal Instruments, which by the way, I have obviously already read some time ago…
But they are so damn beautiful… look at their spines…
Right?! Right? Gorgeous!
Other series that I got my hands on this month was the Shatter Me trilogy. I had been trying to get them for a while now, but the bookstore usually just had 2 of the 3 books, and I wanted to buy them all at the same time, to make sure their sizes were the same. A couple of weeks ago I went to the bookstore to pick up another book, and there they were, so, obviously, they came home with me. Shatter Me, Unravel Me and Ignite Me by Tahereh Mafi.
As I had mention before on a Top Ten Tuesday post, I got Ready Player One by Ernest Cline, Dash & Lily’s Book of Dares by Rachel Cohn and David Levithan, Magisterium: The Iron Trial by Holly Black and Cassandra Clare, Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs, Hollow City by Ransom Riggs, The Princess Bride by William Goldman, Charmed: The Power of Three by Eliza Willard and Constance M. Burge, Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist by Rachel Cohn and David Levithan and The Shock of the Fall by Nathan Filer.

My More Happy Than Not book by Adam Silvera finally arrived – on the day that I had to buy The Shatter Me series…
And, I got The Assassin’s Blade by Sarah J. Maas, the novellas from The Throne of Glass series.
Finally, I bought The Fangirl’s Guide to the Galaxy: A Handbook for Girl Geeks by Sam Maggs, with illustrations by Kelly Bastow.
And that’s it, 21 books, next month will be a light-to-nonexistent book haul…
My Tiny Obsessions 
You already know that I bought Armada today and guess what, I bought Ready Player One along with it!
I have so many of the books you bought 🙂 Dash & Lily, Nick & Norah, the Shatter Me Series, The Miss Peregrine’s Peculiar Children Series, .. can’t wait to hear your opinion of them all!

Yeah, we seem to have very similar tastes. I’m cautiously optimistic that you’re going to like those books too!
😉 I think I will, I will read the shatter me trilogy next month for sure, and I want to read more happy than not and ready player one as well 😀
I’m going to read Ready Player One after I finish my current book “Geek Girl”. I’ve heard great things about More Happy Than Not!
yes, I’ve heard them too. Becky Albertalli (author of Simon vs the homo sapiens agenda) spends her time on twitter praising the book, so it must be good.
I’m not gonna lie, I liked the previous covers of TMI better. The new ones were just kind of plain for me?? But yeah they’re still gorgeous, especially those spines 😍 [squeals]

Mortal Instuments Covers are a-w-e-s-o-m-e! It’s my first time seeing them, are they new editions?
they are, they came out this month, this is the UK version, the US covers are also new but different from these ones (these are my babies now, I love them)

Nice! There’s a few of these I’m looking forward to read and also bought recently. I’m still on the fence for Hollow City but I’m pretty excited to start reading Ready Player One. 🙂 Can’t wait to read your reviews for these books!

I haven’t gotten around to it yet either. I just started Revenge of Seven in the Lorien Legacies series. Then I have to get back to Jane Austen..haha! I took a really long break from my Classics project. haha!
understandably, I read 2 from Jane Austen and I felt I needed a break 🙂 they’re not exactly easy reads (at least for me)
They aren’t. Especially when I read a lot of YA novels now. Haha!

My initial goal was Jane Austen so I’m halfway through: Emma, Persuasion and Northanger Abbey. I do want to go Moby Dick a go before In the Heart of the Sea opens in theatres in December. Not sure I’ll be able to though…
