Thank you so much Kat! We begun blogging more or less at the same time, and she’s the first person I ever connected with in this WWW in terms of shared interests and tastes, whether in books, TV shows or Movies, and she always recommends me the best stuff! How it goes down:

  1. Thank the person who nominated you.
  2. Post the Encouraging Thunder logo. (below!)
  3. Mention your purpose in blogging.
  4. Nominate others for the award.

My Purpose for Blogging

I have mentioned before in other award why I started blogging, it had to do about my need to express myself in all the areas that I wanted to fangirl about, but had no one in real life to fangirl to. That’s is still very much why I keep doing it day to day, of course, but also I now like to know what everyone else is thinking about my opinions, likes and dislikes (guess is not so different from you Kat!). I like to fangirl about ship with other bloggers, or discuss plot points, and my opinions sometimes even change through this balanced discussion of ideas.

I also like to share informative stuff. Whenever I find a cool thing that I think some of my followers might enjoy, that keeps me going too.

I also feel like blogging has opened my world a bit (even if it makes me spend a little more time in front of a screen!). But I learn about other people, cultural habits, the differences from my experience to anyone else’s, I find new books to read, movies to see and TV shows to gush over.

So, my purpose?! All in all, I blog because it makes me happy and completes me in some weird and wonderful way. The purpose is to do what brings me joy :).

You couldn’t have said it any better. Blogging definitely fills a huge gap in my soul, and is a great light and joy to my life, especially at this time when I’m having some personal troubles.
Thank you for nominating me! ❤

Blogging really is a wonderful way to relieve stress, and it really can be considered a hobby. However, there are moments where I wonder if I spend too much time blogging and it becomes overwhelming, but blogging burnout doesn’t last too long. I love this community too much to leave it! Thank you for the nomination, Cristina!
