Day 2 in Tokyo was also my last day in Tokyo, and now, that I finished packing and have everything ready to go into my 18 hours journey home – in which I will be, by the time you read this – I already miss it.
Tokyo was the biggest surprise I had on my trip. I loved Seoul, I loved Kyoto and Osaka, but Tokyo… oh wow, here I COULD LIVE!
Unfortunately, the day wasn’t as productive as I’d wished, but we did go to Akihabara and Harajuku, and I loved both places. I wanted to spend the whole day in Akihabara, exploring the shops, looking for anime and manga stuff that I wanted, but my mom was a bit tired and sick of shops that she thought were all the same – they weren’t, mom!
I love love love my Haruka & Michiru chibi figurines, I love them (they’re OTP), and I was so glad that I (finally) found them…
By the time you read this, I’ll be inside an airplane heading for Paris (probably), so I hope you enjoy my (few) geeky photos 😉 . I loved Tokyo, so much so that I’ll be starting to save money so I can come back here…
chibi figures just look so adorable all the time!! Also, macha iced tea is delicious!
All of the figures look adorable! Sounds like you had an amazing trip. 18 hours is quite a long flight!
hi, so i’m already 15 hours in my 18h journey home, it was a 12 h flight to paris, a few hours of waiting, and a 1h30 flight to barcelona 😉
not that bad really.
Tokyo is amazing!
Now you’re home 🙂 What do you already miss about South Korea and Japan?
I would say, most of all, the respect. I never saw such nice and respectfull people
I’ve heard that people over there are so welcoming and respectful 🙂
I felt that 🙂
It just have been such an amazing feeling 🙂
*gasp* OMG! OMG! I’m so jealous!!! That DBZ figures looks so awesome! I want GOKU! I’m so glad that you visited this wonderful place and i hope you have a great journey back home. 😀
omg, i loved it. I wanted to stay there and get into every single shop, but being with my mom meant that I couldn’t. I do want to go back though, really bad!
I think it needs more than a day to tour this whole place. I hope you visit this place again! 😀
i hope so too. there was so much of tokyo that i didn’t see… =/
Tokyo sounds awesome. How was the food?
It is awesome! My mom was a little squitish about the food, so we mostly ate internacional 😦 but everything was awesome. Especially the sweets 😉
I’m so glad you loved Tokyo! It’s one of my favourite places too. And I LOVE matcha lattes. It’s my go-to drink at Starbucks… and anywhere else I can get it ❤
I’m a fan of anything matcha really… 😀 i loved tokyo, i need to go back, soon
So lucky! If I were in Japan now, I would go crazy on the Sailor Moon merchandise. No restraint. I guess that’s best for my wallet though, haha. Before I went to Japan the first time, my mom warned me that I was likely to be disappointed because it wasn’t possible for any place could live up to the expectations I had. She was totally wrong–I loved everything about it and long for when I can go back again. Sounds like you feel the same way too! ^_^
oh totally! My mom said the same… that maybe it wouldn’t live up to expectations, but it totally surpassed all expectations I had. I loved it so so much. and I wanted all Sailor Moon merch too… 😉
