Blast from the past: Movies From My Childhood (1)

blastfromthepast_tv

Instead of music, I thought I would share some movies that were constantly on TV when I was little. I’ll do a bunch of these, because they are so many damn movies that were a part of my childhood, eheh. By the way, this was prompted by the fact that my nephews had no idea what I was talking about when I mention some of these movies.

The Blue Lagoon (1980)

OMG, this trailer makes me feel so old!!! There were a lot of Blue Lagoons, but this one is the original 😉 .

Dirty Dancing (1987)

This one is epic, I think everyone knows about Dirty Dancing, right?

3 Men and a Baby (1987)

I want to rewatch this movie, I remember loving it each time it was on TV on Sundays…

Twins (1988)

This movie is a classic! Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny Devito together are epic.

Look Who’s Talking (1989)

I loved this movies. Who remembers this one?

Guys, I have to tell you, trailers sucked back in the 80’s! LOL! This movies were a constant presence in my TV while I was growing up in the 90’s – back then Hollywood wasn’t as prolific as it is nowadays.

I’ve watched all these movies a lot of times, it was always on tv. In the last couple of months I could have watched Blue Lagoon 2 a few times. For some reason it’s always on Canal Holywood. But I still like the first one better. Also, I love everything about Dirty Dancing, especially the soundtrack and Patrick Swayze XD

I’ve never seen Twins, but I’m pretty sure I owned all of these except Blue Lagoon on VHS. I think I also owned Look Who’s Talking Too and Look Who’s Talking Now. And I remember the first time I ever saw Blue Lagoon was on television (HBO I’m guessing) I was probably in like 3rd or 4th grade and I was so scandalized.
