  1. Carry On by Rainbow Rowell – I’m about 110 pages in and I’m absolutely loving it. Rainbow Rowell can do no wrong.
  2. The Girlfriend Request by Jodie Andrefski – The first in my long list of January ARCs….
  3. Not Okay Cupid by Heidi R. Kling – Another ARC, this just seems cute 🙂
  4. Loud is How I Love You by Mercy Brown – Yet another one 😀
  5. Any Other Girl by Rebecca Phillips – Fourth ARC…
  6. Progress by Amalie Silver – And the fifth…
  7. Without a Doubt by Lindsay Paige – Yep, another one…
  8. Winter by Marissa Meyer – I was suppose to have time to read it last month, but I did manage it, but I really want to read it soon.
  9. Crystallum by Laney McMann – This has been in my TBR for the last couple of months and I really need to get to it =/
  10. Did I Mention I Need You? by Estelle Maskame – I’ll buddy read this one with Kat 😀 (we’re still not sure when that will happen)

I do hope to get to a couple more books, but these 10 are my main goal. How about you? How’s your January TBR looking? 😉

Ringing in the New Year Book Tag

ringinginthenewyear

Happy New Year!!! In the spirit of the new year of 2016, I’m doing the Ringing in the New Year Book Tag, and I was tagged by Jackie @fallinlovewiththesoundofwords. Thank you Jackie!

The Rules:

  1. Link to the original post (Bookmark Chronicles )
  2. Answer the questions below
  3. Tag 3-5 friends!

Best book/series that you’ve read in 2015

My favorite series of 2015 was the Throne of Glass series by Sarah J. Maas, it is just outstanding.

Authors that you’ve recently found and would like to read more of in the new year

I found a lot of amazing authors this year of 2015, considering that I read more in 2015 than I ever remember reading in my whole life, but one author that I definitely want to read more of is Colleen Hoover. I only read a novella by her, and I want to read a few of her books in 2016.

Most anticipated book turned movie?

fantastic-beasts-08Probably Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them by J.K. Rowling. I’m super curious about this one, because there is not actually a book plot to follow, and everything will be brand new. 😀 And obviously, I trust Jo, she’s the best!

Name a character that you wouldn’t mind sharing a kiss with at midnight (if there is one)

Rowan Whitethorn!!! My answers are always between Rowan and Jem…

What’s on your TBR for 2016? (Top 5 will suffice if IT’S an extremely long list!)

This year of 2016 I really want to read:

  • The Night Circus (Erin Morgenstern) – Kat and Cátia will be happy when I finally read this one 😛 ;
  • Little Women (Louisa May Alcott);
  • Shadow and Bone (Leigh Bardugo);
  • The Rest of Us Just Live Here (Patrick Ness);
  • A Monster Calls (Patrick Ness);
  • Illuminae (Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff).

How many books do you hope to read in 2016?

I was just talking to Kat the other day about this. This past year, my original goal was something like 30 books, and I ended up with over 90. I have no idea how much free time I’ll have this coming year, but I’ll probably aim for 60 books or something like that. Or, I could go totally crazy and challenge myself to 100… what do you guys think?

Will you participate in the Goodreads Reading Challenge (or any others)?

2016readingchallengeOBVIOUSLY!!!! I’ll do the Goodreads Reading Challenge and the Popsugar 2016’s Ultimate Reading Challenge :D.

Any New Year’s Resolutions? (bookish and otherwise)

I’ll redirect you to my Resolutions for 2016 post 😉 !

Once again, Happy New Year! I hope that 2016 will bring you everything you guys wish for. I will tag whoever wants to do this fun tag ;).
