Hello guys! Welcome to the first day of 2016! Times really does fly… So, today I bring you my January TBR
- Carry On by Rainbow Rowell – I’m about 110 pages in and I’m absolutely loving it. Rainbow Rowell can do no wrong.
- Loud is How I Love You by Mercy Brown – Yet another one 😀
- Any Other Girl by Rebecca Phillips – Fourth ARC…
- Progress by Amalie Silver – And the fifth…
- Without a Doubt by Lindsay Paige – Yep, another one…
- Winter by Marissa Meyer – I was suppose to have time to read it last month, but I did manage it, but I really want to read it soon.
- Crystallum by Laney McMann – This has been in my TBR for the last couple of months and I really need to get to it =/
- Did I Mention I Need You? by Estelle Maskame – I’ll buddy read this one with Kat 😀 (we’re still not sure when that will happen)
I do hope to get to a couple more books, but these 10 are my main goal. How about you? How’s your January TBR looking? 😉
I hope to read Front Lines, finish up Revenge and the Wild, and Illuminae! You look like you’re going to have a great reading month!
I’m hoping to get to Illuminae soon too 😀
You sure are working on getting those arcs done! I am already stressing about two on my TBR shelf hahaha. And we will get to DIMINY sometime before March, that’s for sure!
eheh 😀 Yeah, I don’t want to get behind on these ones, and they all sound good, so I’m hoping not to get any problems. I won’t be accepting books from the authors this month though…
Have a lot of people sent you requests?
I received one a few days ago, about a fantasy series that sounds pretty interesting and has good reviews… but I’m not sure I have the time right now.
I know that I don’t. I have gotten a request as well, shortly before Christmas and I told the person I would get back to them this month. Truth be told, I just want to read a couple of the books I ordered before reading that one. Especially since it’s like steampunk or something and that’s usually not a genre I go for.
yeah, and I somehow feel worst doing a bad review when the author asks for a review than when i request from netgalley… =/
Yep, I hear you! I feel the same, but I feel generally bad when I review something that I didn’t like. It’s because I’d rather not review bad books at all …
obviously 😛 ideally I would love to love all the books I pick up 😀
Yeah, that’s sort of a no-brainer.
😉
I just adore Carry On!
i’m really liking it 😀
Carry On is so good! I hope you love it 😀
How are you enjoying the DIMILY series so far? I’ve been interested in checking that one out.
I’m loving Carry On so far :D. And I really like DIMILY, more than I originally thought I would 😉
Great TBR ! 😉
Thank you 😆
Hmm… I look forward to a review of Crystallum. I saw it on Netgalley and was interested by it, but was too new at the time to be accepted by them. :p
And I’m still baffled by your TBR at the moment. Insane! I’ll be lucky if I finish ‘Clash of Kings’ by the end of January. Only… 700 pages to go. 0.0
i’ve been putting crystallum off for over two months =/ but i’ll get to it this time for sure ;). yeah, but it’s easier to read 5 books of 200 pages than 1 book of a 1000 pages 😉
Haha! Putting off books is what I’ve been doing with a bunch of Netgalley reads. Oops! :p I’ll get to them… eventually.
True. True. Though, I can just sense the achievement I’ll feel when I finish said 1000 pages… and have three more of the same size to finish in the series. >.>
Eheh. I stopped after book 2. I started book 3 and i just couldn’t do it at the time… =/
Yeah. It’s a lot. I read the first book back in July. So, it’s taken me… 5 months to read book two. I’ll probably need quite the break before I dive into book 3.
Yeah. It’s not an easy read. It doesn’t help that there are very similar names all around
Oh man! I keep mixing up Littlefinger and Varys because they play the same role in my head and Tywin and Tyrion and then there’s all the other houses and lineages that are only mentioned once or twice and I’m just like: ‘skip!’
Yep, my brain totally went on vacation after all that
A great long TBR to start off the year I see! I hope you liked Carry On because I thought it was really fun and amusing.
i’m at 40% of carry on and i’m loving it, it’s so funny and witty 😀
Great TBR! I can’t wait to see what you think about these books! 🙂
Thank you 😊 we shall see. Which ones have you read?
I seriously need to at least read Carry On if I don’t read Fangirl. Good luck with this month’s TBR 🙂
Carry on was absolutely amazing!!!
I need to read Carry On 🙂
I hope you’ll love Winter! It was definitely one of my favourite books of 2015 🙂
It’s my next read 😄
Yay! 😄
