Those of you that actually follow The Royals, know that the season has ended for a while now, but I was a bit behind, ok? I only finished it a few days ago and let me tell you: this season was spectacular.
Season 1 was good on itself, but the personal drama of each of the family members overshadowed more important issues. Well, not on season 2.
The plot and overall direction of the show this season was fantastic, with each member of the family trying to find their own direction, while trying to find Simon’s killer and their relevance as well as the crown’s.
The characters got better, the visuals got even better, the direction was stunning. There’s one episode towards the end of the season where the transitions between scenes just blew my mind. Genious! And the acting! OH MY! If you’re not watching this show yet, you need to tune in now, because this cast will blow your mind. Elizabeth Hurley, William Moseley, Alexandra Park, Tom Austen and Jake Maskall were beyond wonderful this season *claps, and then claps some more*.
I admire how the show managed to keep some people, who are no longer present, relevant in this season. And OMG! The music! They use the most amazing tracks this season.
I was shocked about the direction and on finding what had really happened. I felt sorry for Cyrus and disgusted at the same time. I cried for Len and Jasper, and clapped effusively to Liam’s speeches. And Queen Helena stole my heart this season… I think I love her now. And Mr. Hill… oh you wonderful human being!
I can’t wait to see where next season will take us. Does that hand really means what we think it means? And what will that mean for the royal family? What will the paternity test say? What happened to Ted? Will we see Ophelia again (though I somewhat hope not)? Will Helena keep supporting her children? Will Len stay on the right path? She’s forgiving Jasper, right? And I need Liam happy… ok?
Now people, go check it out if you haven’t yet, because The Royals is truly a delight!

Right?! Oh my, this season was amazing. And the quality! It doesn’t even seem a show from E!, it looks like it should be on proper tv, you know?
I know. We’re talking about a good show that is the network responsible for the Kardashians. How is it possible? (says the girl who sometimes watches the Kardashians and was fun with all the gossip XD)

My friend talked about this show all the time! She says it’s like a guilty pleasure 😀 But I haven’t got the time to watch it, so maybe I’ll binge-watch it when I get a chance! Glad you enjoyed it!
The first season was totally a guilty pleasure, but the second one was full of quality and great drama. It’s easy to binge too, just 10 episodes per season
THE ROYALS. I love that show so, so much, and it’s just getting better every episode.That finale was AWESOME, I loved it. The soundtracks are always on point…BUT everyone never gets their happy endings…and it makes me sad. I want Liam to be happy, Len to forgive Jasper (THEY ARE BREAKING MY HEART 😦 ) and everything… Sorry for the all caps there, but they just give me feelings, haha!
I TOTALLY GET YOU!!!! Yes, poor them never get they happy endings :(, I need Len to forgive Jasper NOW, I mean, I’m pretty sure she did, if that ‘look’ was any indication ;). How do you feel about Liam’s friend/love interest this season? I really really liked her…
This show is always playing with my emotions, haha. I hope she did, oh, I really want them together so badly 😦 I feel that…we didn’t see her enough?! I’d love to have more scenes with the two of them! She seems kind of great, but I want MORE 🙂
me too 🙂 I feel like she’s the first love interest that actually puts his responsibility and what he can do in front of everything else. I love how she’s able to advise him :), so I see the potential there

I am still debating over whether I should write one myself or not, but I probably won’t end up doing it. Yours mentioned all the right things! The first season was great, but this season was a whole new level of drama and stunning images and perfectly attuned music. AND MR. HILL IS MY HERO!
😀 if they keep upping their game like this, what will season 3 be like? And maybe Mr should be promoted to Ted’s place… or maybe not, because then he wouldn’t be able to be with Len…

I agree that he needs to stay with Len, but I kind of like Jasper with Len too… maybe Jasper can stay with Liam, they make a good team :D. I’m fairly confident that the guy will have amnesia, lol, otherwise why would he stay away for so long? And I don’t know how I feel if he takes the crown away from Liam, because I think Liam would be a great king
Liam and Jasper are awesome together. Also, I don’t think it’s healthy for Len and Jasper to be around each other 24/7 – way too explosive of a combo. They need to gain back trust slowly!
Oh yeah, the amnesia thing is sort of a given! And Liam would probably be a great king, but it’s not exactly an easy fate either …
you’re right about Jasper and Len, probably better if they’re only boyfriend/girlfriend :P. yeah, being king is not an easy fate, but I kind of feel like he deserves it, you know?
He has worked exceptionally hard this past season and he is so sincere and really cares about the people. I do wonder though if maybe the monarchy will be abolished in the end nonetheless …
i don’t think so. they were right when they say that people don’t go to London to see the prime minister, they go to see Buckingham palace and the royals. the monarchy is too big of a symbol.
