WOW, look at that! 2006! The first time I was ever in the USA was almost 10 years ago… WOW! Time flies! – OK, freak out moment over…
The first time my mom asked me if I wanted to go with her to the US, I jumped at the opportunity. It was a really rough time in my life, probably one of the toughest in my (then) 21 years of life, so I was super on board to just go and get out of my head for a bit. I was working at the time, but my boss was super nice about it and let me compensate my days with my due overtime, I did skip a few days of class, but at that point I didn’t really care. I was on my way to LA! (and Las Vegas and Palm Springs, but that’s for another day)
This was also when I discovered the Cheesecake Factory and all the goods that come with it :D.
And Hollywood!
And Universal Studios :D.
In general, I really liked LA, even if we caught a few terrible days of cold and rain – I hasn’t packed for that. Still, it was pretty freaking amazing. While my mom worked, me and her business partner wandered around Hollywood and took photos of around 100 stars and prints, lol. I even I had an unforgettable experience riding the buses in the city, under rain… never to be repeated again.
AAHH LOS ANGELES. This is one of my biggest dream, I hope I can go there soon ❤ I love all of your pictures, you make me more and more impatient to go there! Did you do the hike up to the Hollywood sign, or not? This is something I'd love to do! 🙂
i hope so too :), it’s a cool city 😉
So cool! I am so jealous that you’ve been to LA!
eheh, is this the part when I tell you that I’ve been to LA twice already? 😛 🙂
:O SO MUCH MORE JEALOUS NOW!
LOL, ups!
It’s cool … I will go there at some point in my life … I still have time ;D
you have! When I was your age, I had hardly travelled… much. 😉
Yep 🙂 there is still plenty to see and plenty of time to do so.
🙂
Oh my! You are so lucky. I doubt that I will ever visit the States but I love all your photos. Thanks for sharing 😀
🙂 There are so many gorgeous places outside the US though 😉
That’s true! but I would love to go there too. Actually I would love to go everywhere in the entire world but ok .. 😛
I get that 😀
This… might come off as completely weird… but you look like my aunt XD When she was younger. I had to do a double take (I’m assuming that’s you in the selfie, right?)
Anyways, going to LA sounds like so much fun! Are there any places you recommend in particular?
every time there’s a person, it’s me :P. Do I? wow, these pics have almost 10 years though ;). I’ve been to LA twice, and always end up in the same tourist places. Santa Monica and Venice beach are super nice though 😀
Haha, I figured! Thanks for the suggestions 😀
It looks like you had so much fun! L.A. is such a fun place. There’s so much to see there.
there is! I’ve been twice and I feel like I’ve seen nothing of it. 🙂
Wow, seems like an amazing trip!
🙂 it was pretty cool 🙂
wow!!! How do you travel so much???
I’ve been scrolling your travel post and I’m just so jealous rn 😝!!
Can’t wait to read mooore!!!
oh, first of all: I’m 31 and I’ve been traveling since I was 11, so that means I have 20 years of traveling on my back :P. Then my mom lives in Angola, and we travel together at least once a year. Other than that I travel a lot for work, congresses and conferences and courses :). And there’s the fact that I live abroad 😀
Cannot wait for you to share more! Love to see those posts!
😉
Cheesecake Factory<3 I loveee it! And omg Los Angeles! I've never been abroad before (except for the homestay program last year) so I plan to travel a lot after I graduate! It seems like you had a lot of fun! 😀
I love cheesecake factory too :D. LA is fun and beautiful 😉
