Hello, welcome back to another Tuesday. Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. This week’s theme is:
Ten Childhood Characters You’d Love To Revisit As Adults (ie a novella or something to see what they grew up to be) — you could always just pick YA characters you’ve read recently you wouldn’t mind revisiting in 10 years or so. Or you could pick 10 characters and guess what you think they’d be doing in 10 years or 20 years. OR you could go the other way and wish for coming of age stories for adult characters you love.
I’m going the obvious route and say Ten YA characters that I would like to revisit in 10 years or so.
I would love to know what happened to Eleanor and Park!
right? that open ending was just cruel… =/
Great list! I would like to know what happens to Maggie and Mason in ten years. They were so cute together!
yes 😀 😀 :D, I would love that so much! I think Marci Lyn Curtis was writing a story for Ben, so I’m hoping that she includes some Maggie and Mason there as well
OMG SHE WAS WRITING A STORY ABOUT BEN?!?!?!? How could I not know this?????? I would love to see more of Maggie and Mason!
I think she said that at some point 😉
I’d be interested in seeing Penryn’s little sister, cause wow… issues! (I’ve only read the first of the series.) Where are they then? My TTT.
oh, that would be interesting… very interesting indeed… 😉
i am pitifully deficient in my YA reading – it’s something I really want to do more of this next year. My TTT
🙂
What a great list! I’m reading Eleanor and Park right now and have Everything, Everything on my bookshelf 🙂
YAY! Are you enjoying Eleanor & Park?
It’s amazing!!!
You have some great choices on here! My faves on the list are Eleanor & Park and Sky & Dean. It would be really interesting to find out where life took April & Jonah, though.

I would love another book about Eleanor and Park… that ending was just so open
Ugh yes, I’d love to know what Penryn is doing after the ending of End of Days, it was too open. I’ll just keep hoping there will be more books… or a spin-off series, just something. 😏
I would love a spin off series about the Watchers. Or anything else for that matter. 🙂
Yes, a spin off about the Watchers would be amazing! 😍
😀
Ok, I really need to read Angelfall and that entire trilogy because I’ve seen it on so many lists today and it’s making jealous, haha. I totally agree with the Rampion crew though. I love all of them and would totally love to see what they’re up to (I haven’t read Stars Above yet either. I’m seriously slacking).
Great list! Here’s my TTT. 😀
yes, read Angelfall… it’s so good! I was so pleasantly surprised by it!
I’d love to see Sky and Isla. I still haven’t finished the last book of Angelfall, I was hoping that book would explain how they could work it out. Eleanor and Park definitely felt unfinished.
Check out my TTT at Amethyst Blue
well, the last book in the Angelfall trilogy does explain what happens, but it still leaves a lot of questions behind
Great list! I am definitely on board with Ali, Taco, Isla and Eleanor and Park. Maybe it is true and Rowell will truly write a sequel? Who knows!
I would like that… but she would have to put them through some hurt before they got their happy ending, and I’m not sure I would be cool with that…
Well, but not even for a real happy ending? Like a proper resolved story? It would be something of a first for Rowell hahaha
it would! I would consider it… maybe… maybe I could go through it if there was a very happy ending. complete with an epilogue several years ahead
well, those are a lot of demands hahaha
well, it would be a big deal. she had to do it right, right?
Yes, but I am not sure that epilogue would even be up for discussion. That’s so not her style 😛
i know… her style is not resolving any of her stories…
I guess Attachments was the one with the most satisfying ending. Other than that she likes to torture her readers.
YES! I’m so glad that there’s no doubt that Lincoln and Beth stayed happy together…
Agreed 🙂
how easily would it have been to introduce them in one of her other novels? maybe as family friends of parents, or parents of another kid at school or something like that?
Maybe that will still happen in future books. She let Cath and Levi appear after all.
true!
Yes for Eleanor and Park. What happened next? Will they ever find their way back?? And what are the 3 words? There are so many possibilities I wish at least there’s an epilogue!
yes yes and yes!
