Reese King: Olympic medalist, underwear model, Greek god.

His body is chiseled from rock, sculpted by the weight room, and refined by water.

On a daily basis his skin is completely bare for everyone to see, tan and defined, only covered up by a minuscule piece of spandex. There is no denying his sex appeal.

I hate to admit it, but I’m head over heels infatuated with him.

There is one HUGE problem though. His achingly gorgeous abs, inked up arm, and cocky swagger belong to my boss, the high-profile, reality star bitch from hell and certified heinous human being, Bellini Chambers.

What I think is going to be an easy job assisting a glorified wench turns into a cluster f*ck of epic proportions.

When I read the blurb, I got the idea that this book would have some kind of triangle or cheating, something along those lines, but that’s not the case at all. Just to put your mind at ease 😉 .

This was my second book by Meghan Quinn, and once again I really enjoyed the writing. The book is told in 3 different POVs, two main ones, Paisley and Reese, and then Bellini has the occasional POV (that I found to be more for comic relief than anything else).

I really liked Paisley and Reese, both were complex characters, who complemented each other quite well. I really liked their connection and their chemistry, either as co-workers and as a couple. But I loaded Bellini… yeah, I know that was the whole point, but I really hated her, even though her chapters were hilarious.

I found great the importance that Paisley gave her job and her goals, and I really liked that there was no actual mixing business with pleasure here. I absolutely loved the Olympic theme throughout the book, and I found Reese kind of inspirational.

About the side characters, I thought Reese’s friends were amazing, and I can’t wait for the next two books to read a whole lot more about them. Now, about Paisley’s BFF Jonathan… I was slightly disappointed in him and in the direction of his storyline.

I found the plot a bit predictable, but still very entertaining and well achieved. I will definitly recommend this book, and I can’t wait to get my hands on the next two. Olympic swimmers and divers?! Gimme gimme!

About the Author:

10473563_521229761373798_686149088794091070_o (1)

Born in New York and raised in Southern California, Meghan has grown into a sassy, peanut butter eating, blonde haired swearing, animal hoarding lady. She is known to bust out and dance if “It’s Raining Men” starts beating through the air and heaven forbid you get a margarita in her, protect your legs because they may be humped.

Once she started commuting for an hour and twenty minutes every day to work for three years, she began to have conversations play in her head, real life, deep male voices and dainty lady coos kind of conversations. Perturbed and confused, she decided to either see a therapist about the hot and steamy voices running through her head or start writing them down. She decided to go with the cheaper option and started writing… enter her first novel, Caught Looking

Now you can find the spicy, most definitely on the border of lunacy, kind of crazy lady residing in Colorado with the love of her life and her five, furry four legged children, hiking a trail or hiding behind shelves at grocery stores, wondering what kind of lube the nervous stranger will bring home to his wife. Oh and she loves a good boob squeeze!

Blog Tour:

WWW Wednesday: July 20th 2016

WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam @Taking On A World Of Words, where you have to answer these questions:

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

At this very moment?! Nothing! I finished a book last night and still haven’t started another…

Since last week I finished  Crystallum by Laney McMann, and I really liked it, and I’m excited for book 2 of the series. Then I read  No Falling Allowed (No Kissing Allowed #2) by Melissa West with Cátia @The Girl Who Read Too Much. I also finished You Before Anyone Else by Julie Cross and Mark Perini, which I loved! Then I started and finished A Fine Mess (Over the Top #2) by Kelly Siskind, and I LOVED IT!!! Finally I read Impossible Love (Unforeseen Destiny #1) by Kimberly Readnour with Cátia, and bah, this book was another disappointment…

Next I’m reading 3 books in buddy reads with Cátia: Defying Gravity (Finding Perfect, #2) by Kendra C. Highley, Resisting the Rebel by Lisa Brown Roberts and No Breaking My Heart by Kate Angell.
