Stuck-Up Suit (Vi Keeland & Penelope Ward)

stuckupsuit

It started out like any other morning on the train.

Until I became mesmerized by the guy sitting across the aisle.

He was barking at someone on his phone like he ruled the world.

Who did the stuck-up suit think he was…God?

Actually, he looked like a God. That was about it.

When his stop came, he got up suddenly and left. So suddenly, he dropped his phone on the way out.

I might have picked it up.

I might have gone through all of his photos and called some of the numbers.

I might have held onto the mystery man’s phone for days — until I finally conjured up the courage to return it.

When I traipsed my ass across town to his fancy company, he refused to see me.

So, I left the phone on the empty desk outside the arrogant jerk’s office.

I might have also left behind a dirty picture on it first though.

I didn’t expect him to text back.

I didn’t expect our exchanges to be hot as hell.

I didn’t expect to fall for him — all before we even met.

The two of us couldn’t have been any more different.

Yet, you know what they say about opposites.

When we finally came face to face, we found out opposites sometimes do more than attract—we consumed each other.

Nothing could have prepared me for the ride he took me on.  And I certainly wasn’t prepared for where I’d wind up when the ride was over.

All good things must come to an end, right?

Except our ending was one I didn’t see coming.

OMG! I never knew that listening to romance audiobooks could be so entertaining, and dirty! Eheh…

I have to say, I loved the female narrator for this book, she’s got so much spunk, it was amazing to listen to her. The guy however, was weird… he has a husky, slightly sexy voice, that it’s very ok while he’s narrating, but when he does dialogue, is super weird, because his sentences seem to hang in the air.

I absolutely loved the writing style on this one, it was fun, sexy, fast paced. I really really enjoyed it. But more than anything, I loved the characters! I found Soraya and Graham amazing, delightful and so unique characters.

Soraya kicks ass! I love her to death. I mean, this chick changes hair tips’ colours according to her moods! She doesn’t take any shit, and she’s 100% true to herself. Always! She’s beyond great. And Graham isn’t really behind… yeah, he’s an ass-hole a lot of the time, but he does have a reason, and he knows he’s not nice, lol, but he is mostly fair, and he puts the women in his life above everything else.

The romance was great too, yeah, it starts with an attraction, but it grows because they have both found their match, and they don’t beat around the bush. And when Soraya is scared and with a foot out, Graham fights for her, always.

The angst and the problems in this book were amazingly done… I can’t say what causes it, because SPOILERS, but it’s a big deal, and has a huge impact in the book, and it made me love Graham a lot (A LOT) more.

Overall, I loved this book, it’s an amazing romance, sweet and sexy too. If you love romance, especially with a rich bastard with a heart of gold, give this one a chance.
