Hello guys! It’s Christmas time, so why not another book tag to celebrate it? Once again, I’m recycling a tag from last year, and you can read the 2015 edition here. So, let’s do this! By the way… I’m only using books that I’ve read during the year of 2016!
On the first day of Christmas, my true love sent to me: a partridge in a pear tree.
The partridge stood alone in the pear tree. What is your favourite stand alone?

Ugly Love was definitly one of my favorite books of 2016, so it deserves to be here.
On the second day of Christmas, my true love sent to me: two turtle doves.
Love is in the air! Who is your one true pairing?

OMG, how can I pick just one?! Yeah… I kind of can… Jamie and Wes all the way!
On the third day of Christmas, my true love sent to me: Three French Hens.
In the spirit of threes, what is the best trilogy you have read?

I didn’t read many trilogies this year… and even using the True North series is cheating, because there will be more books, but what the hell… this series is just amazing!
On the fourth day of Christmas, my true love sent to me: four calling birds.
Since series usually consist of four or more books, what is your favourite series?

My favorite New Adult series is definitly the Off Campus series by Elle Kennedy. These boys are everything!
On the fifth day of Christmas, my true love sent to me: five golden rings.
One ring to rule them all! Who is your Favorite Villain/Antagonist?

AIDEN from Illuminae for sure!
On the sixth day of Christmas, my true love sent to me: six geese a laying.
Creation is a beautiful thing. What is your favourite world/world-building?

I love the world building in The Dark Artifices series by Cassandra Clare, and the world of A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas.
On the seventh day of Christmas, my true love sent to me: seven swans a swimming.
Who needs seven swans when all it takes is one good animal sidekick? Who’s your favourite animal sidekick?

CLIVE from Wallbanger most definitly! Clive is the most wonderful and sassy cat ever, and he’s a delight to read about.
On the eighth day of Christmas, my true love sent to me: eight maids a milking.
Milk is so 18th century. Which book or series takes beverages/food to a whole new level?

Have you read Carry On? Simon sure talks a LOT about food… eheh.
On the ninth day of Christmas my true love sent to me: nine ladies dancing.
Dancing is just one skill of a Lady! Who is your favourite kickass female lead?

I love these two ladies! Reese from Price of a Kiss by Linda Kage is just wonderful. And Kestrel from The Winner’s Curse by Marie Rutkoski kicks some ass… with her brains.
On the tenth day of Christmas my true love sent to me: ten lords a leaping.
How about your favourite leading lad?

I love Mark Watney from The Martian, he’s a hoot. And Taco from Anything You Want grew on me a lot… I love that boy. And Solomon from Highly Illogical Behaviour is just plain amazing.
On the eleventh day of Christmas my true love sent to me: eleven pipes piping.
What is your favourite book or bookish thing with musical influence? (It can be about music, reference music a lot etc.)

I loved these 3 books that have a music theme: Tone Deaf by Olivia Rivers, Maybe Someday by Colleen Hoover and Stay Until We Break by Mercy Brown.
On the twelfth day of Christmas my true love sent to me: 12 drummers drumming.
Drum roll please…what is your favourite read of this year?

I couldn’t do just one…
I’m done!
I tag EVERYONE who wants to do this one 😉 HAVE FUN and happy hollidays!!!!
