btt_gold

Hello, welcome back to another Book Traveling 168709Thursdays, which a weekly meme created by Cátia @The Girl Who Read Too Much and Danielle @Danielle’s Book Blog. The goal is to share the covers of a book related to that week’s theme, which you can see at the Goodreads group, indicating the original cover, the one of your country, your favorite and least favorite.

This week’s theme is “Throwback Thursday. Choose a book you read years ago. I’m choosing The Last Song of Dusk by Siddharth Dhanvant Shanghvi. I read this book years and years ago, in 2005, I think, when I went to Luanda, Angola, for the first and only time.

Original COver:

I kind of like this cover, but I couldn’t tell you at all if it applies to the content, eheh.

COVER FROM MY COUNTRY (PORTUGAL) & COVER FROM THE COUNTRY I LIVE IN (SPAIN):

I like the Portuguese cover a lot, I think it’s what prompted me to read this book. I’m not a fan of the Spanish cover though, something is off with the peacock.

FAVORITE COVER(s):

I love the two new paperback english editions, especially the white one.

LEAST FAVORITE COVER(S):

I really dislike the French edition, as well as two other English editions.
