Welcome back to Top 5 Wednesday! This meme was created by gingerreadslainey and is hosted by Sam @ThoughtsOnTomes and you can check out the  Goodreads group here. This week’s theme is Favorite Romance Novels  .

Romance as a genre is very under-appreciated in lots of circles. So recommend your favorite romance books. These are books where romance is the main genre, not a secondary one.

Here are some of my favorites, that I read this year.

Here are some of them…

Top 5 Wednesday: Books I Didn’t Get to In 2017

Welcome back to Top 5 Wednesday! This meme was created by gingerreadslainey and is hosted by Sam @ThoughtsOnTomes and you can check out the  Goodreads group here. This week’s theme is Books You Didn’t Get to In 2017 .

These are books you didn’t end up getting to in 2017, but really want to prioritize in 2018.

I have to say, it bugs me when the TTT and the T5W themes overlap, and it happens way too much. Either way, I’m doing this one, because it’s easy, and I’m gonna feature books I didn’t feature in yesterday’s TTT.

Book Traveling Thursdays: A Favorite Bookish Pet

btt

Hello, welcome back to another Book Traveling 168709Thursdays, which a weekly meme created by Cátia @The Girl Who Read Too Much and Danielle @Danielle’s Book Blog. The goal is to share the covers of a book related to that week’s theme, which you can see at the Goodreads group, indicating the original cover, the one of your country, your favorite and least favorite.

This week’s theme is “Everyone needs a companion. Choose your favorite bookish pet“. This one is easy. I have to choose Clive from Wallbanger by Alice Clayton… I just HAVE TO! Clive is freaking amazing and fun and he’s the best cat EVER!!!

Original COver:

This one is the original US cover and I can’t believe I’m saying this… but this cover kind of grew on me…

COVER FROM MY COUNTRY (PORTUGAL) & COVER FROM THE COUNTRY I LIVE IN (SPAIN):

No cover for Portugal, but the book did come out in Spain, and they went for the original cover. I have to say that I like this edition, I like the pink letters better and I like the size and placing of the author’s name.

Favorite COVER(s):

I’m not in love with any of the covers for this book, but the Spanish and the Brazilian editions are probably my favorites. By the way, the brazilian title “Subindo pelas Paredes” literally means “climbing walls“, and it’s an expression of need… deep deep need.

LEAST FAVORITE COVER(s):

These 2 covers, the Italian and Indonesian editions, are pretty bad, right? Especially the last one…

Book Traveling Thursdays: An Underhyped Book

This week’s theme is “Share the Love!! Choose an underhyped book that you think everyone should read“. This is getting harder and harder! Ok, so I decided on The Improbable Theory of Ana and Zak by Brian Katcher, which is awesome and super underrated. The problem is there aren’t many covers available, so bear with me on this one, ok?

Original Cover:

I absolutely love the cover of this book, it’s unique and it totally relates to the story :).

COVER FROM THE COUNTRY I LIVE IN (SPAIN) & Favorite Cover:

Surprisingly this book is out in spanish, and I love this cover, maybe a tiny bit more than the original, due to the font used.

LEAST FAVORITE COVER(s):

None! Yep. See the design used on both of those covers? That’s the only one that exists, so I love it… no least favorites this week ;-).
