Con Man: my geeky dream come true!

How could I not know that this was happening?! Con Man is a tv show written and directed by Alan Tudyk, that will be coming to Vimeo on September 30. It will have 12 episodes released throughout 4 weeks (3 eps for week). Go check the trailer below!

It’s a spoof of what happens in real life after a Firefly-like show!!!! 😀 I’m SO HAPPY! The show looks fun and amazing, and it has all my favorite people on it. This has totally made my day!

With a cast full of very recognizable people (at least for us geeks), such as Alan Tudyk, Nathan Fillion, Summer Glau, Sean Maher, Gina Torres, Michael Trucco, Milo Ventimiglia, Amy Acker, Wil Wheaton, Mindy Sterling, Sean Astin, Felicia Day, Seth Green, James Gunn, Tricia Helfer, Casper Van Dien, and even a special appearance by Joss Whedon.

Mal Reynolds is coming to The Big Bang Theory

If you love Nathan Fillion, Firefly and TBBT, then you’re gonna like this. Nathan Fillion is set to appear as himself in an upcoming episode of The Big Bang Theory, as Entertainment Weekly reports.

“The Castle star—whose geek cred includes Firefly, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog—will appear in the Feb. 19 episode, in which Raj (Kunal Nayyar) and Leonard (Johnny Galecki) see him sitting at a restaurant and debate whether or not it’s really him and whether or not they should ask him for a picture.

The casting comes as no surprise, considering how much Firefly has played a role on the series. Sheldon (Jim Parsons) is a huge fan of the show and frequently laments its premature cancellation—he initially included a clause in the roommate agreement dedicating Friday nights to watching the sci-fi series since he believed it would last for years to come. Firefly co-star Summer Glau also made a cameo on Big Bang as herself in season two.”

I’m so excited about this, Nathan Fillion is one of my favorites TV actors and I love that The Big Bang Theory still doesn’t let FOX forget their terrible mistake in cancelling the amazing Firefly.

My Top 10 TV Male/Female Friendships: 10 to 6

TV shows are much more than romances and bromances. Sometimes, a show creates a really cool relationship between a guy and a girl that doesn’t turn romantic. Yes, science somehow tells us that that’s not possible, but I don’t buy it! Here is my numbers 10 to 6 of these special friendships.

10. Dean & Charlie (Jensen Ackles & Felicia Day) – Supernatural

Charlie is the sister that Dean never had, and even though she was only in 4 episodes, Dean is really protective of her and she gets him to open up like no one else. Jensen and Felicia just have this great weird chemistry between them…

Slumber Party

9. Max & Andy (Kat Dennings & Ryan Hansen) – 2 Broke Girls

Andy was in a relationship with Caroline, but he had way more in common with her best friend Max. When the two of them got together, it was fun all around. Too bad that he didn’t stick around for long… maybe this was the problem: he had more chemistry with Max than with his girlfriend.

8. Zoe & Mal (Gina Torres & Nathan Fillion) – Firefly

Two army buddies with such different personalities, she’s all tough and he is all ironic and sarcastic. But sure it’s fun to watch! Through all this, and against Wash’s believes, they never so much thought of nothing romantic with one another… talk about friendship!

7. Sheldon & Penny (Jim Parsons & Kaley Cuoco) – The Big Bang Theory

These two are funny and sweet… for a guy as annoying as Sheldon, it’s good fortune that his neighbor has such a great amount of patience… Those knocks alone are enough to drive people mad! And she even sings Soft Kitty to him!

6. Chloe & Clark (Allison Mack & Tom Welling) – Smallville

Through the course of 10 years, Chloe was Clark’s BFF. She managed to get over her romantic feelings for the guy, learned his secret and even became his sidekick. It was the biggest relationship in Smallville, it certainly was the longest…
