September Wrap-Up

Damn guys, it’s October already. How did this happen? This year is just flying by… oh well. So, this month I did well, I think. I didn’t read as much as last month, but I still took out 12 books of my TBR, even if 2 were novellas and 1 I did not finish. Eheh.

THIS MONTH I READ:

2017 NEW ADULT READING CHALLENGE:

I read 2 more books towards the NA reading challenge:

Which brings my total to 51 New Adult books read so far, putting me finally at the NA Expert level. YUPIIIIII!!!

I’m also done with my  NA bingo:

BOOKS REVIEWED:

  1. Most Valuable Playboy (Lauren Blakely)
  2. Arm Candy (Jessica Lemmon)

August Wrap-Up

August already ended… Damn, this year is going by way too fast, and I feel like I haven’t done nothing productive all year. Either way… I managed to read 14 books this month, this has been the number I books I’ve been managing lately, so I’m happy with that. Also, I read some great books, and some not so good.

THIS MONTH I READ:

I read 5 more books towards the NA reading challenge:

Which brings my total to 49 New Adult books read so far, putting me still at the NA Advanced level. But I’m only one book away from the next level. I also found out that I’m picky about what constitutes a NA book for me, eheh.

I’m also only missing 2 categories to finish the NA bingo:

  • Three shades of PINK! I told you last month that I had dyed my hair pink, right? So, the pink started to fade to a baby pink, so yesterday I dyed it again with a darker pink tone, with purple-ish tones.

  • I had my Summer’s work party last weekend, and it was a lot of fun 🙂
  • I finally snagged a copy of Lord of Shadows! Cátia knows how hard that was to find, eheh.

July Wrap-Up

july_wrapup

This month has been kind of crazy… In the last week or so I’ve been away from home, and my computer and reading time has diminished a lot. I haven’t been posting as consistently this week, and books have been taking me a little longer, that’s partially why I didn’t read as much in July. Still, I read 15 books, and started 2 others, so I can’t complain all that much. But it has been a month with a lot of bad readings too… I don’t remember ever giving so many low ratings to several books in the space of a month.

This month I read:

July Wrap-Up

And that’s it, July ended and we’re already in August… how the hell did that happen?! o_O

july_wrap_up

Back at the beginning of this month I has set up reading 6 books this month, as you can see on my July TBR. I have failed! I had meant to read:

1. P.S. I Still Love You (Jenny Han)

2. An Ember in the Ashes (Sabaa Tahir)

3. Throne of Glass (Sarah J. Maas)

4. Crown of Midnight (Sarah J. Maas)

5. Heir of Fire (Sarah J. Maas)

6. The Strange and Beautiful Sorrows of Ava Lavender (Leslye Walton)

I ended up not reading Heir of Fire or The Strange and Beautiful Sorrows of Ava Lavender due to lack of time.

But I did read:

1. P.S. I Still Love You (Jenny Han)

2. An Ember in the Ashes (Sabaa Tahir)

3. Throne of Glass (Sarah J. Maas)

4. Crown of Midnight (Sarah J. Maas) (review coming soon)

5. Bossypants (Tina Fey) – I actually listened to the audiobook – my very first audiobook! (Review coming soon)

All in all it was a bad month in terms of time to read, but the books themselves were amazing, I only wished I had had the time to get to Heir of Fire, but worry not, I’ll be done with it by this time next week. I’ll be posting my August TBR later today.
