Con Man: my geeky dream come true!

How could I not know that this was happening?! Con Man is a tv show written and directed by Alan Tudyk, that will be coming to Vimeo on September 30. It will have 12 episodes released throughout 4 weeks (3 eps for week). Go check the trailer below!

It’s a spoof of what happens in real life after a Firefly-like show!!!! 😀 I’m SO HAPPY! The show looks fun and amazing, and it has all my favorite people on it. This has totally made my day!

With a cast full of very recognizable people (at least for us geeks), such as Alan Tudyk, Nathan Fillion, Summer Glau, Sean Maher, Gina Torres, Michael Trucco, Milo Ventimiglia, Amy Acker, Wil Wheaton, Mindy Sterling, Sean Astin, Felicia Day, Seth Green, James Gunn, Tricia Helfer, Casper Van Dien, and even a special appearance by Joss Whedon.

Mal Reynolds is coming to The Big Bang Theory

If you love Nathan Fillion, Firefly and TBBT, then you’re gonna like this. Nathan Fillion is set to appear as himself in an upcoming episode of The Big Bang Theory, as Entertainment Weekly reports.

“The Castle star—whose geek cred includes Firefly, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog—will appear in the Feb. 19 episode, in which Raj (Kunal Nayyar) and Leonard (Johnny Galecki) see him sitting at a restaurant and debate whether or not it’s really him and whether or not they should ask him for a picture.

The casting comes as no surprise, considering how much Firefly has played a role on the series. Sheldon (Jim Parsons) is a huge fan of the show and frequently laments its premature cancellation—he initially included a clause in the roommate agreement dedicating Friday nights to watching the sci-fi series since he believed it would last for years to come. Firefly co-star Summer Glau also made a cameo on Big Bang as herself in season two.”

I’m so excited about this, Nathan Fillion is one of my favorites TV actors and I love that The Big Bang Theory still doesn’t let FOX forget their terrible mistake in cancelling the amazing Firefly.

Castle: season finale (most satisfying moment!)

Castle‘s season 6 came to an end this Monday. If you watched it, keep going, otherwise you’re at your own risk!

I’m not going to do a recap of the episode, in general it was a funny episode (with too much crammed into it), with a bitter ending. I’m torned about that ending: for one, I did want the perfect wedding for them, because they deserve it, and definitely they did not deserved what happened. From another point of view, this just made things a whole more interesting… and truth was, they were not having their perfect wedding anyway… but I’m hopeful that they’ll have it next season!

I had ONE extremely satisfying moment in the episode:

Thank God they ruined that awful dress somehow! It’s just sad that they gave her such a better dress just so she could watch her boyfriend’s car burning up… Well, let’s hope that the fall will bring Castle back, alive and well!

Nathan Fillion & Community

Nathan Fillion, the great Castle and Captain Mal Reynolds and Captain Hammer, will guest star on the cult comedy show Community (Deadline)! This is a big moment for Nathan as he is a self proclaimed fan of the show and had shown interest in guest starring in it… so well done…

As a fan of both the show Community and the great and only Mr Fillion, I’m delighted by this piece of news =)

Obviously, when this news came out, so did the haters. Over the summer there was a lot of talk about Nathan being on a contract negotiation with ABC that would allow him to have a 4 day-work-week, and through said negotiation, he was not present on set to work. This issue was resolved and Nathan Fillion is reportedly working all days of the week, Fridays inclusive.

So, for the haters, who are now saying that he doesn’t care about Castle and that kind of stuff: Molly Quinn was right when she said that the show is what it is because of Nathan Fillion! With this I’m not saying the rest of the cast (Stana) isn’t great, but the show is awesome because of Nathan! It’s time everyone realizes this! It’s normal for lead actors to ask for bigger things when the season number get higher… is it that unnatural that he wishes to work 4 days a week? NO! We have no idea how many hours he works in those 4 days, we also don’t know how much everyone else on the show works, but I would bet it’s less… So the point is: If you don’t know, don’t like or just say s*it, please, do us all a favour and just DON’T!
