My TV Shows Calendar

TV season has started again!!! Hurrayyyy! I’ve honestly had such a crazy couple of weeks that I still haven’t cathed up to anything that came out – I still have a few shows behind from last season… ups!¬†ūüė≥

Either way, I wanted to share with you what I’ll be watching this year, just like I did last year around this time (here).

I still have to catch up to a lot of shows before this becomes a regular schedule, but I’ll try¬†my best.

Are you guys watching any of these? Which show are you most excited about? I’m pretty psyched about the return of Marvel’s Agent Carter ūüėÄ .

What I‚Äôll be watching new next season (NBC)

NBC has a total of 5 shows that I want to check out this fall.

This trailer looks amazing and intriguing, so I’m in. Also,¬†Jaimie Alexander! And¬†Marianne Jean-Baptiste!!!

A beautiful woman, with no memories of her past, is found naked in Times Square with her body fully covered in intricate tattoos. Her discovery sets off a vast and complex mystery that immediately ignites the attention of the FBI who begin to follow the road map on her body to reveal a larger conspiracy of crime while bringing her closer to discovering the truth about her identity. With Jaimie Alexander, Sullivan Stapleton, Marianne Jean-Baptiste and Ashley Johnson.

Chicago Med

CHICAGO FIRE -- "I Am The Apocalypse" Episode 319 -- Pictured: (l-r) Yuri Sardarov as Otis, Nick Gehlfuss as Will Halstead, Joe Minoso as Joe Cruz -- (Photo by: Elizabeth Morris/NBC)

As a part of the Chicago-family, I’ll obviously watch it! Starring¬†S. Epatha Merkerson, Laurie Holden, Yaya DaCosta, Nick Gehlfuss and¬†Oliver Platt.

When this trailer begun I was expecting something completely different from what it became. I hope this is a different kind of Medical Drama. And they learned that Dave Annable should always be playing a doctor (good call!!!).

Inspired by the real-life Dr. Kathy Magliato, this medical soap follows the outspoken Alex Panettiere, one of the rare female heart transplant surgeons. Alex brings an innovative eye to treating patients week to week while also balancing the complications of her professional and romantic life. With Melissa George, Dave Annable , Jamie Kennedy, Shelley Conn, Maya Erskine, Don Hany, Joshua Leonard and J. Louis Mills.

Heroes Reborn

Hell yeah! Starring Zachary Levi, Jack Coleman, Masi Oka, Jimmy Jean-Louis, Robbie Kay, Ryan Guzman, Rya Kihlstedt, Gatlin Green, Judi Shekoni, Henry Zebrowski, Eve Harlow, Pruitt Taylor Vince, Francesca Eastwood, Toru Uchikado and Kiki Sukezane.

People are Talking

This trailer just seems fun ūüôā .

Follows two diverse couples who are both neighbors and best friends. As they go through life side-by-side, they can’t help but analyze and obsess about everything. From topics like sex and race, to the fact that the trusted new babysitter might just be a porn star, nothing is out of bounds for this wildly outspoken foursome. With Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Tone Bell and Bresha Webb.

Binge Watching: Chicago Fire & Chicago PD

I had previously written about my new found love for Chicago Fire, but what I did not expect was to like Chicago PD as much as I do.

I guess it’s because the creators work really hard to make the both shows so interconnected that they actually feel like one huge show with two fronts… it really is a Chicago Family! Hardy an episode of Fire or PD goes by that one character or another from the other show makes a brief pass by, and I love it!!! Well done people… let’s all hope that Chicago Med will be as good!

Heroes Reborn adds Hiro!

Hiro Nakamura was mine (and I’m sure a lot of other people’s) favorite hero! I’m so happy about this! NBC has announced that Masi Oka will reprise his role as Hiro Nakamura in the 13-episode revival of Heroes, Heroes Reborn.

The show will premiere in the fall, and the cast includes fellow Heroes vet Jack Coleman as well as Zachary Levi, Ryan Guzman, Robbie Kay, Danika Yarosh, Judith Shekoni, Kiki Sukezane, Henry Zebrowski and Gatlin Green.

Binge Watching: Chicago Fire

I was religiously saving Chicago Fire and Chicago PD for a rainy day, meaning, the summer time, when TV is at its low… but then I went home this week and one of our cable channels was transmitting Chicago Fire every single day, like 3 episodes on a roll… it was too much! As soon as I got back I realized that I was hooked, so here I am, 3 days latter and on my last episode of the first season!!! It’s just SO GOOD!

Fall’s first “falls” and full orders

The season of cancellations (of new tv shows) has begun! Manhattan Love Story (ABC) was the first show to fall – which is not that hard to believe. Soon after NBC has cancelled Bad Judge and A to Z, also not surprising, though I am sorry about A to Z, I was really enjoying it.

On the reserve side of the equation, some shows received a full season order. NBC has granted Mysteries of Laura a full season pickup. ABC has ordered a full season of How to Get Away With Murder. Madam Secretary, NCIS: New Orleans, Scorpion and Stalker (CBS) all got full season pickup as well. Fox has ordered a full season of Gotham as well. Finally The Flash and Jane the Virgin got the same privilege by The CW.
