Sunshine on Leith is a 2013 British musical film directed by Dexter Fletcher, an adaptation of the stage musical of the same name, a jukebox musical featuring songs by The Proclaimers.
It’s a gorgeous, touching movie, that talks about love, commitment, family and sacrifice. I loved it! It has the bonus of the gorgeous Scottish accent, beautiful sceneries and the amazing songs by The Proclaimers. From I’m on My Way, to Over and Done With, and finally I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles), the music is amazing and says more than any dialog could!
