Today I bring you a quote about time, from Unravel Me by Tahereh Mafi. It just strikes me so much, this quote, because it’s so true… our perception of time has nothing to do with time itself.

From one of my favorites from August, You’re Never Weird on the Internet (Almost), by the Queen Felicia Day. I find this quote so reassuring. Actually, the whole book made me not only love her even more, but actually think “oh, it’s ok! Everything will be fine”.

3 Days, 3 Quotes Challenge (3): Day 1

Here we are again! I really love this 3 Days, 3 Quotes thing, and I was (again) nominated by Annemieke @A DANCE WITH BOOKS, so obviously I will take the opportunity to share 3 lovely quotes again with you.

3days3quoteschallenge

If you want to check out my previous 2 Challenges, here you go:

  2. Post a quote for 3 consecutive days (1 quote for each day).
  3. Nominate three new bloggers each day.

I will start with a quote from a book I just finished a couple of days ago, and that I still haven’t found the guts to review, which is More Happy Than Not by Adam Silvera. Let me just say, the smile is deceiving…

more happy than notLet me just tell you, I don’t think I will ever forget this book… it was, to say the least, sucker punching in itself.

Today I’ll nominate, and remember, you don’t have to do this if you don’t want to, but you should:

And YOU, obviously! If you’d like to do this challenge, please do!!!!

3 Days, 3 Quotes Challenge (2): Day 3

Welcome back for the 3rd (and last) day of my second 3 Days, 3 Quotes Challenge (worry not, I still have one nomination to get through, probably next week). Thanks again to THE BIBLIOTHÈQUE for tagging me to do this again! (Thank you so much THE BIBLIOTHÈQUE!!!).

3days3quoteschallenge

Here are the three days of my first Challenge: day 1, day 2 and day 3. And here is the quote from day 1 and day 2 of this go!

The Rules:

  1. Thank the person who nominated you.
  2. Post a quote for 3 consecutive days (1 quote for each day).
  3. Nominate three new bloggers each day.

Today’s quote is from a new favorite of mine, A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas. I apologize before hand because the quote is a little smutty, and if you can locate in the book, you know that the whole scene is super hot and steamy.

acotar_tamlin

But I love this moment, I think it’s the moment I knew that Tamlin is truly dreamy, because even though she clearly wanted more, he wasn’t himself and he still had enough control and respect for her to not push the line (that again, she wouldn’t have mind pushed). Oh Feyre, you’re a lucky girl!

Instead of nominating people today – you should definitely do this challenge if you wish, because it’s amaze-balls! – I will give you another quote and Amarantha’s riddle, from the same book. Can you solve it? Drop the answers in the comments – and if you know because you read the book already, not fair 😛 !!!

3 Days, 3 Quotes Challenge (2): Day 2

Welcome back for day 2 of my second 3 Days, 3 Quotes Challenge. Thanks again to THE BIBLIOTHÈQUE for tagging me to do this again! (Thank you so much THE BIBLIOTHÈQUE!!!)

3days3quoteschallenge

Here are the three days of my first Challenge: day 1, day 2 and day 3. And here is the quote from yesterday!

The Rules:

  1. Thank the person who nominated you.
  2. Post a quote for 3 consecutive days (1 quote for each day).
  3. Nominate three new bloggers each day.

The second quote is from one of my favorite authors, Cassandra Clare – which I realized I should have posted yesterday, because it was her birthday!!! Here I could have picked a whole lot of quotes, heck, I could make a book out of it, but I went with Clockwork Princess, because is so beautiful, and with a quote that I think defines perfectly well the most perfect love triangle that I ever read (warning, if you have not yet read CP2, you might want to not be SPOILED!).

cp2_tdi_2

I will only say this: Tessa is one lucky lady!

I will nominate:

Once again, only do this if you like, but it’s so much fun. 🙂 See you tomorrow for day 3!

3 Days, 3 Quotes Challenge (2): Day 1

If you remember I did this challenge last week (yup, last week), but I really loved it, so when THE BIBLIOTHÈQUE tagged me to do it again, I jumped at the opportunity! (Thank you so much THE BIBLIOTHÈQUE!!!)

For the first day I will post one of my favorite lines from Attachments by Rainbow Rowell (what? Rainbow Rowell again?! Well, YES!) !!!

attachments

I loved this book! And this, the idea that Lincoln fell in love with Beth before he even knew what she looked like, is beautiful. Have I mentioned how much I loved this book? I identify with Lincoln a lot…

Have you read Attachments? What are your thoughts on in?

I will nominate:

Do this if you like (if you don’t want to, that’s OK too), but this is such an amazing and fun tag!

I had so much fun doing this tag, so if anyone wants to nominate me again, I’m game!
