This is the best part of the summer: being able to catch up with the TV shows I put on hold during the year. So, I’m finally caught up on MARVEL’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D..
I love the show, love the references to all my favorite Marvel movies, such as “Thor is yummi”, or “did Romanoff beat it?”, but what I love the most is that the show is mainly about the agents and let me tell you: I missed Coulson!!! My favorite parts are definitely Coulson’s interactions with Maria Hill or Fury… because it’s so nice to see them being the “main” thing, showing that you don’t have to be a superhero to be super! And May… Jesus, I love Melinda May!!! And I’m I crazy, or there’s some potential there between her and Phil?!
And please tell me that Coulson will be, somehow, in Avengers 2… maybe in the after-credits scene?! Maybe Steve or Tony finding out that he’s alive?! Pretty please!!!!
And what about Fitz-Simmons? I have to admit that on the first couple of episodes I had a little trouble understanding Fitz’s thick scottish accent, but they are both so adorable… so I hope that Fitz doesn’t has brain damage, and I do hope that Simmons realizes that he’s also more than her best friend.
My Tiny Obsessions 
I adore FitzSimmons! Next to Coulson, they definitely were my favourite part of the show. I also like the Skye and Ward dynamic. Can’t wait for season 2!

Absolutely! That was a real shocker to me! But I refuse to believe that he is evil …
really?! I mean… sure, he obviously has some feelings towards the team… but he almost killed Fitz and Simmons… I don’t know if he can ever come back from that.
That’s the thing. I don’t believe that he could just kill members of the team and feel nothing. I want to believe that there’s some sort of conflict inside of him and that he doesn’t just blindly follow orders. That would make his character terribly one-dimensional.
yeah, he’s conflicted, but as he states: he likes them and that’s a weakness! Now we’ll see him not following orders, but I don’t know he knows who he actually is… still, trying to kill the 2 most adorable members of the team is not going to give him any points… and lets see if Fitz will be a 100% after that
Fitz is my favourite person on the show. (Followed by Coulson and Simmons on second place) I am going to be pissed if he’s not alright … and I’m not sure I could forgive Ward if he wasn’t okay. It’s not like Ward is the most important person to me, but I just don’t want to think of him as evil. I want to see the good in people. I was devastated when I found out he’s part of Hydra.
I get you, Ward is not my favorite either, but it’s hard to see that they had an enemy alongside them all that time… at least they told us that it was not like he was a true believer, he just felt he owed everything to Garrett…
Yeah, it would have been even worse if he was a true believer.
yes… there would be definitely no coming back from that! But I feel that after the things that he said, how he only jumped out of the plane to gain their trust and so on, how will any action he has make us (and them) believe in him again? I mean, he could jump in front of a bullet, and all I would be hearing would be that he did it to play them… I don’t know… I’m definitely curious about it.
Me too! We won’t know for sure what is in store for him until the next season comes out.
do you have any idea if they’ll keep Triplett?
I read that he will return for season 2 because Triplett got along so well with Simmons and they want to keep up with the love triangle. But there are also rumours he’ll be featured in the Avengers: Age of Ultron.
Ok… I like him, so I would like to see that

I’m glad you finished season 1. So excited for season 2 to start on Sept. 23rd. I confess, I hadn’t seen any of the Marvel films before I started watching Agents of SHIELD – not even Avengers. (Crazy, huh?) I started because I knew Joss Whedon was a co-creator and I love Ming-Na Wen (Agent Melinda May). It didn’t take long for Coulson to be my other favorite character besides May. I wouldn’t mind having Phil and Melinda become romantically involved, but I’m more interested in Melinda’s past (How exactly did she get the nickname The Cavalry? I want to see May’s mom again! And in the lie detector chair May said she was married once!) and what is currently happening to Coulson.
Ohh, I cant believe you hadn’t seen any of the movies… you have now, though, right?
I’m very curious about May’s past as well, she must have gone through a lot… 😀
